Bedtime

Even though the boys don't talk yet, they understand exactly what we are saying.  Tonight as I was calling out bedtime the boys when crazy and started chasing each other all over the house with their whale ball-popper toys.  It was hilarious!  Why do they get SO hyper at bedtime?

Wind

I hate the wind!  It's my least favorite natural element.  I'd rather it be dumping snow than blustery and windy.  Hurricane Irene is getting close.  So far we've only had some light (relatively light that is...) wind.

Our favorite

If y'all didn't know, we like to go to the park.  Matt's home this weekend, so we celebrated by getting ice cream and playing at our favorite park.

You want to know why this is our favorite park????  This is why!

It's COMPLETELY fenced!  Yay for containment!  As you can see we are quite hands-on when playing at the park with our boys, it's just nice to know that they can't run into the parking lot or road...  :)

TTFN!

Ta-ta for now!  It's time to head back to North Carolina.  We'll miss you guys!  We had a GREAT time with you all!

Bahahaha!  JUST KIDDING!  Leave it to Delta mess up your travel plans.  We're staying 1 more night (at least we are not stuck in some crappy Atlanta airport hotel.  anyone remember this or this and this?)!  Pizza at the park anyone?

Vail

We made it!  Priority numero uno was La Cantina for fish tacos!  It really is a hole in the wall.  This place is located INSIDE the Vail Village parking garage.  It was rather good though...

 After tacos we walked around town a bit.  It's so pretty here!  I'd live here in a heartbeat!

Vail doesn't allow overnight RV parking at all, so we had to drive a ways to park for the night.  The boys were so crazy at bed time, they couldn't keep still and Elliott couldn't stop opening and closing one of the kitchen drawers.  It took them FOREVER to fall asleep.  Not the best night's sleep ever, but we made it to the morning. 

In the morning we found an awesome park for the boys to play at while we waited for Lisa and Dave to arrive.

I'm glad that I was able to meet Dave before the wedding.  I mean, what if I didn't approve???  Haha!  Dave, you are great!  I more than approve!  You guys are perfect together!
