St. George Visit

Me, mom and the boys made a super quick (too quick really...) down to St. George to visit with Becka, Eric and Lincoln.  It's been since Christmas since we've all seen each other!  We all crammed in my dad's car because mom's is a little unstable lately.  I didn't realize that mom actually had a DVD system that we could have set up for the boy in the car, that would have made the drive a bit easier.  For a short time in the car the boys were content to play with the ipod and my phone, but most of the trip mom and i were trying to keep them entertained by singing to them.  Perhaps it was our singing voices that was making them unhappy...  Oh well, we sang and sang and sang!  Once we were sick of primary songs we resorted to Christmas songs.

We barely got to Becka's in time to drop the boys off with Eric and Lincoln and get back in the car to make it to our show on time (thank you Eric!)!  Becka, mom and I went to see The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn.  It was SO cute.  A little different from the movie, but in good ways.  Go see this if you have a chance!  In the hustle I left my camera at Becka's house, so I didn't get any great shots.  I just had my EVO.

When we got back to the house Eric informed us that Jonas climbed out of his bed, opened the door and sat down with him and watched TV instead of going to bed.  This was the first time Jonas had climbed out of the pack-n-play.  Elliott has done it just once before at a friends house.  I'm getting a little nervous, I'm not ready (and I don't think the boys are ready...) for the boys to be in big-boy-beds yet!  I was hoping to stay with our current sleeping arrangement until the boys were two and a half, at least!

In the morning all the boys had fun playing together.  I really wish our visits were more frequent!

Grandma needed an updated photo of Lincoln for her photo wall.  Her latest photo of him was from our visit to Utah last May (2010, not last May), our Christmas visit was so quick too that I wasn't able to get a good pic of him then.  He's SO great in front of the camera!  Check out this handsome guy!

We headed back to Midway after errand running and lunch.  We need to get you guys to come back out to North Carolina again soon!!  We miss you!
