Costco & Eggs

I took the boys to Costco for the first time today...  They did REALLY great.  They both just sat in the cart and entertained themselves without mauling each other.  I wish other stores had the double kiddie seat...

 I got everything on my list and packed up the car.  It was a pretty tight fit to get it all in the car (I had the stroller in the back which takes up a good 1/3 of the space).  I thought I did a pretty good job of making sure everything was secure and not going to get damaged or smashed on the ride home, but when we got home and I pushed the button (yes, I'm spoiled and have an auto lift gate :) to open the back the eggs fell out and splatted all over the driveway.  What a mess!  I surveyed the mess and decided to bring the boys in and get them settled with a bottle before I attempted to clean it all up.  By the time I got out to the car to clean up the mess the eggs had already started to cook right there on the driveway!!  So, yes it has actually been 'so hot you could fry and egg' here in NC!

A few of the eggs actually survived the drop, but not enough...  I have to now go to another store to get the rest of the eggs I'm gonna need for this weeks baking activities.
