Matt's uncle's brother (remember, everybody is your cousin somehow in the South...), Larry, always throws a huge Fourth of July party. There is always plenty of food (amazing home-smoked bbq), music, friends and illegal fireworks.
The party is an all-day affair, so we began by taking the boys swimming in Larry's pool.

After the pool and some dinner, Gigi took the boys back to Lonnie & Barbara's house and put them to bed. We stuffed ourselves with all the yummy food and the mosquitoes all came out and feasted on our flesh. I think I came home with about 100 or so itchy bites :(

As the sun was going down all the 'goods' were laid out.
And as soon as it was dark enough, they lit up the sky.
Can't wait til next year! Maybe the boys will be big enough to stay up for the fireworks.
