Happy birthday to me :)

It's my birthday!!  Thank you, mom for watching the boys so Matt and I could get a night out.  Our first stop was Ikea, to purchase my birthday present!  (you'll have to wait for a 'after' photo to see it all done up).

And we enjoyed dinner at Maggiano's.  The flat bread appetizer we got was SO yummy.  I'll definitely be going back just to get that again.

 

And after dinner we had a little dessert from Godiva.  My favorite truffle was the Rocky Road Truffle, I should have gotten a few more of those.   The milk chocolate caramel ones came in a close second.  I just love caramel in the fall.

A couple days after my b-day we had another celebration with Matt's family.  We had an awesome ice cream cake from Cold Stone (all Matt's doing :).  It was sweet cream ice cream with brownies, chocolate and caramel mixed in on top of chocolate cake and iced with whipped topping and covered with chocolate shavings.  Delish!

 It was a fabulous birthday!  Thanks to all my wonderful friends and family for making it a special one.
