Rookie of the Year!
Matt has pretty much clinched the title of CarbonX Rookie of the year in the ESI Rocky Mountain Challenge Series. All he has to do is run at least 1 lap in the final race (Magic Valley Speedway, Twin Falls, 9/8/07). YEAH!! Here is a photo of Matt just after the last race. His car did get beat up a bit, but as you can see he is all smiles.
The RMCS people did an interview on Matt about the rookie title and the "green-ness" of the team. Our friend, Kirk, wrote an awesome commentary on this. Please read on his blog the post titled "Step on it Cole Trickle! (Who the hell is Cole Trickle?)" it is fabulous!
